Commonly known as the SS, it included police units, combat forces and others who ran the concentration camps that carried out the mass killings of civilians during World War II.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-715990a4>The stylized SS symbol is banned in Germany today.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-715990a4>Adidas spokesman Oliver Br\u00fcggen told news agency dpa that the federation and 11teamsports were responsible for the design of the names and numbers on the shirts.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-715990a4>&#8220;People from around 100 countries work at Adidas.
